On a
point overlooking both lakes will be The Lake Club at WaterLace,
scheduled to open in 4th quarter 2007. This will be the centerpiece of
the community’s social activities. The Lake Club will feature a
Nantucket-inspired Lake Cottage, a 5-lane Lap Pool, a zero-entry Splash
Pool, 4 Tennis Courts with Pavilion, Storytelling Circle with Fire Pit
and an Event Lawn. Children will enjoy a Play Park featuring a Play
House that replicates the historic Fayetteville Court House.
The
Lake Cottage features a gracious Gathering Hall with an Entertaining
Kitchen. There will also be a Fitness Center for residents and a
Welcome Center for introducing the WaterLace lifestyle to guests. In
addition, a generous deck with an outdoor fireplace will provide
sweeping views of the Event Lawn and Lake WaterLace.
The
Garden Sculpture Walk connects Lake WaterLace and Silver Lake. This
walk will offer inspiring views of seasonal gardens and overlooks.
Residents will be able to fish from the docks and store their canoes
and kayaks in one of several boat racks located throughout.
Additionally, WaterLace will feature a swimming dock that is sure to
become a popular spot for teens during the summer.
Schools
Fayette
County Schools are both locally and nationally renowned for academic
excellence. All Fayette’s schools met Adequate Yearly Progress
requirements and achieved the highest SAT, CRCT and ITBS scores in the
state of Georgia. Cleveland Elementary and Bennett’s Mill Middle
School are both within walking distance of WaterLace. For more

WaterLace
is ideally situated off Highway 54, between Peachtree City and
Fayetteville in Fayette County, Georgia. The community is adjacent to
Cleveland Elementary School, the new Bennett’s Mill Middle School
(opening in summer 2007) and the Fayette Family YMCA. Piedmont Fayette
Hospital is located just one mile away on GA Highway 54, and
Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is conveniently located just
20 miles north of WaterLace.
